Humanity

I was having dinner at someone's house a few nights ago. He had a picture of Jesus on the wall with a caption reading: “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." [John 14:6]

I had a revelation! The message we should've gotten out of this quote from Jesus is that to get to the "Kingdom of G-d" (i.e. enlightenment), the only way (the way) is through the human experience (the life). The story of Jesus is about being human and coming to Earth to have the human experience, and through this experience, to be 'resurrected' (i.e. to reach enlightenment - i.e.the Kingdom of G-d). The "Kingdom of G-d" does not refer to 'going to heaven after you die'. The Kingdom of G-d can be experienced during your human life. But, you have to stop living a lie and be true to yourself and others (the truth).

What saddens me is that the majority of humans grossly misinterpreted the message of Jesus. Instead they turned Jesus, the man, into an idol.

We cannot force transformation on to another. Each person has his/her own journey to take in reaching the Kingdom of G-d.
